Chapter 1 The characters travel to Sticklehaven, Devon, and are about to travel to the mysterious Indian Island for different reasons. They are excite of the fact that they are going to be staying at the luxurious and mysterious Indian Island while they wonder about the people they meet.
Chapter 2 We, the readers, learn more about the characters and why they came. The characters travel to Indian island by means of boat. Then, Vera reads a mysterious poem that the whole group will eventually discover in their room that foretells the nightmares and mysteries about ten little Indians that are about to unfold on the island. Furthermore, Emily Brent reads a Bible passage that also gives us a glimpse into the future. The message of this passage is that the wicked shall be turned into hell.
Chapter 3 Everybody goes and dines together when a gramophone plays giving accusations to each of the characters and a murder they have committed. Nobody understands, yet everybody states that they the accusations were false. Mrs. Rogers even fainted! So the group tries to figure out who the Mr.Owen is and why Mr. Rogers was commanded by him to play this record titled Swan Song.
Chapter 4 The characters still don's quite understand who the Unknown ( Mr. U.N. Owen) person is. Each of them explain their accusation and state that their accusation was completely ridiculous and false (except for Emily Brent who won't explain the murder she was involved in). suddenly, Marston takes a drink and falls to the ground choking.
Chapter 5 Dr. Armstrong confirms that Marston is dead due to the Cyanide in his drink. They can't quite figure out if the death was suicide or homocide. Strangely, there are only nine china indians instead of the ten that were there when they first arrived.
Chapter 6 In the morning after Marston's death, Mr. Rogers is frantically shaking Dr. Armstrong saying that he can's get her to wake up. Dr. Armstrong confirms the death of Mrs. Rogers. Mr. Rogers isn't terribly sad though, which is strange because his wife just died. The eight remaining people discuss causes of Mrs. Rogers unexplained death. Now, there are only eight china Indians in the dining hall!
Chapter 7 Finally, Emily Brent explains the accusation that she would not tell anyone about to Vera. We learn Emily Brent's hardness on a girl she took into care drove the girl to suicide. Armstrong and Lombard decide that they will go looking for the murderer on the island because Marston and Mrs. Rogers had no reason to commit suicide.
Chapter 8 Armstrong, Lombard, and Blore go looking on the island for the hideout of the murderer. They conclude that there is nobody on the island but themselves. Vera goes and talks to the dazed Macarthur who keeps saying none of them will ever get off the island. He also admits that he sent Arhur Richmond, his wife's lover, to the front lines of a battle to die. Talking to Vera, it sounds like he is happy to die in the near future.
Chapter 9 General Macarthur was beaten to death and is the third to die in this mystery novel. So the seven people discuss the murders and conclude the murder is one of them.
Chapter 10 Miss Brent is starting to write strange things in her diary that make the reader think she is going mad. Mr. Rogers takes the china indians in the pantry and locks the pantry so nobody can get in and smash a figurine.
Chapter 11 The group wakes up not knowing where Mr. Rogers is. Then, Vera spots that there are only six figurines on the table in the dining room. Rogers was found dead in the wash house. He was hit in the back of the head with an axe. Also, Blore admits to framing Landor,an innocent man, and ultimately sending him to prison where he would spend the rest of his life.
Chapter 12 In this chapter, Emily Brent gets injected with Cyanide. Corresponding with the poem, a dead bee was left beside Brent on the ground. The group takes all of their potential weapons and locks them in a silver chest in the pantry.
Chapter 13 Vera had an aching headache and decided to go take a cold bath. Then, while in her room, she thought she felt a cold clammy hand like the boy she had "drowned". After all the screaming that was done, it turned out actually seaweed hanging down from the ceiling. Everybody, ran upstairs to see what the fuss was about when Wargrave was left behind and shot.
Chapter 14 Lombard's revolver that was supposedly stolen, was found by him in the very same place that it was before it was stolen. While in her bed, Vera looks at the hook where the seaweed was hung from and din't like the look of it. Blore hears footsteps moving down the stairs and wakes the others to see who that person might have been and get some help looking for that person. Turns out, Armstrong isn't in his room. By this time, there are only three china indians on the table in the hall.
Chapter 15 Vera Claythorne thinks that Armstrong is the killer and is still on the island according to the poem. Lombard and Vera find Blore's head crushed by a block of marble shaped like a bear. Now, they both believe Armstrong is the killer. Then, they find Armstrong's body drowned and wedged between two rocks.
Chaper 16 The only two people on the island they think are just themselves. Lombard believes that Vera is the killer while Vera believes Lombard is the killer. While they were pulling Armstrong's body out from the rocks , Vera grabs the gun from Lombard's pocket and shoots him in the heart. Vera went back to the house, into the room, and felt Hugo's presence there. She found also a rope hanging from the hook and a chair underneath it. She then hangs herself and the last indian doll in her hand breaks when she drops.
CLIMAX Vera Claythorn hangs herself and the last indian doll breaks when it fell from her hand. AND THEN THERE WERE NONE.
Epilogue *Sir Thomas Legge and Inspector Maine are detectives on this case *They look at the facts and know for certain (1)Wargrave was innocent (2) nobody else had ever been charged for murder (3) the order of the deaths *They cannot figure out who could have killed them
Manuscript In this note that he cast out to sea in a bottle, Wargrave explains that he was born with the attraction of killing. As he got older, his lust became so great, that he had to make a grand murder. Wargrave was the last one to out of the ten to survive in this mystery novel. He faked his murder by placing red paint on his head to make it look like he was dead. Then, he slowly killed off every one of them. Once each of the victims had perished, he shot himself. What is interesting, though, is that he was going to die soon after he committed suicide due to medical problems. One of his last notes is that he hardly believes the police will ever figure uncover the murderer, himself.

Though some examples are clearer than others, each of the passages from the book show foreshadowing in the nearing pages of this suspenseful book. The poem in the first example shows vaguely how each person who travels to the island will die. In the second example, the passage foreshadows that none of the people who travel to the island are completely safe and some might not come back. The third example states that each of the travelers have a dark secret foreshadowing that they will be payed justice. Finally, the last example shows everyone knows each other has a dark secret and that causes suspicion of one another in the group of ten travelers.

how does a mystery novel differ from a narrative?
how might the title be a clue to the story?
A narrative is a book based on not the book itself, but rather the telling of a book and its events. The narrative gives you certain ideas and events in the book while keeping the novel interesting. Contrasting, a mystery novel is about an unknown event(s) or idea(s) that the reader must figure out themselves or the author will reveal during the last few chapters of the book. Usually, it keeps you reading with a hint of what is going to occur next while a narrative sort of does that but in a way that is more obvious to the reader when stating or hinting what will happen next and/or when or where it will happen. A title will sometimes be a clue to the story being read. Many times it foretells what will happen at the climax in the book allowing you to understand the beginning of the book more and giving you the ability to make a mental note of something you wouldn't of thought was important unless you payed attention to the title. Also, the reader may still be confused by the end of the book and will be missing a key clue they have not figured out yet, but the title will hint into that clue.
The last sentence of the first chapter provokes the reader to not put down this alluring book. Mr. Jusitice Wargrave senses the day of judgement is at hand for Mr. Blore even though Mr. Blore doesn't believe him. The hint was the final sentence stating that Mr. Blore was definately wrong about not believing Wargrave telling me that Mr. Blore will probably cease to exist in a few days.

The hint was the final sentence stating that Mr. Blore was definately wrong about not believing Wargrave telling me that Mr. Blore will probably cease to exist in a few days.
